If you do not currently speak in tongues the scriptures contained in this pamphlet will give you an understanding of speaking in tongues and how it is to be used in a Christian’s life.
It is the author’s prayer that you will manifest the greatness of the power of God in your life by speaking in tongues.
The Word of God, The Bible, stands on its own and can be the only source for finding
the truth regarding spiritual matters. In looking at the topic of speaking in tongues it is vitally important that we let the Word of God speak for itself. We cannot elevate our personal experience or the opinions of men above God’s Word.
God’s Word is in a category all its own. In Psalm 138:2 it states that “God has magnified His Word above all His name.”
God exhorts us to study His Word in II Timothy.
II Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
When a child of God knows the Word of God and rightly divides that Word he need never be ashamed. I pray that God will open the eyes of your spiritual understanding and that God will show you great truths from His magnificent Word.
